Kylian Mbappe Transfer: With a new transfer window, new rumors revolving around Kylian Mbappe have also arrived. Mbappe’s recent confirmation letter to not renew his contract confirmed that the French striker will be leaving PSG any soon. However, in a recent Tweet, Mbappe himself denied claims of him joining Real Madrid this summer. The 24-year also confirmed that he will be continuing at PSG, where he is happy.
French daily newspaper Le Perisian in their post mentioned that Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid. The French striker reposted the tweet with clarifications and wrote, “LIES… At the same time, the bigger it is, the more it passes. I have already said that I will continue next season at PSG where I am very happy.”

In a statement to AFP, Mbappe clarified that he is willing to leave PSG in 2024 after his contract expires. “The management of the club in charge of the extension [was informed] as of July 15, 2022, of the decision [not to continue beyond 2024],” Mbappe’s statement read. “The letter was only to confirm what had already been clarified orally beforehand.“
The statement sparked rumors again of him joining Real Madrid this summer. Reports also claim that Paris Saint Germain were also not happy with the timing of all this and they are willing to listen to offers. However, they might be considering selling Mbappe to Real Madrid.
PSG signed Mbappe back in 2018 after his breakthrough season at Monaco. Since then, the French striker has been linked to a move to Real Madrid. Last summer, Mbappe was close than even to joining Real Madrid, but instead, he extended his contract with PSG.

Mbappe’s decision to not trigger one year of his contract means he will be leaving PSG in 2024, that too for free.
After losing Lionel Messi and most probably Neymar too, PSG would not like to be without their main man next summer. Mbappe has cleared his intentions of staying at PSG for one more summer and that must be a sigh of relief for the management.
