Leicester previously had a request denied by the Premier League to have the match postponed due to coronavirus cases in the squad.

This is a second consecutive postponed league match for Spurs after an outbreak of COVID-19 in their squad saw their game against Brighton called off.

Leicester are believed to have made another request to the Premier League this morning to have the game called off because of further Covid cases.

Tottenham had already travelled and were in a hotel ready to travel to the King Power Stadium to play the game.
