Manchester City had failed to win the UEFA Champions League multiple times in the past. They signed Erling Haaland to help them win the Champions League trophy, and he delivered. Rafaela Pimenta spoke about Erling Haaland’s transfer and said that Haaland and Manchester City both respect each other and will deal with this together.
She said:
“I think it is not necessary to say that Erling does what he wants. Is not true. Erling is always going to do what is good for him and for his club, Manchester City. When everyone is willing to make a change, it will be done. He’s not the type of player who’s going to say ‘I’m leaving, bye, I don’t want to know anything’. It is not like this. And it’s not going to happen because respect comes before everything. If they give it to him, he will give it too.”
Although Erling Haaland has only recently joined Manchester City, he may move on depending on the situation. He has already won the treble with Manchester City and may want a new challenge. Joining a team like Real Madrid is a big deal for any player.
