Haaland, 22, changed up his haircut ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League clash with his former Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich. The striker raised eyebrows by unveiling a new braids haircut for the big game. Haaland seemed to be all smiles as he got ready to battle against Bayern Munich in a huge Quarterfinal clash.
Some fans though cruelly took to social media to poke fun at the striker’s barnet. After seeing Haaland’s hair, one fan started a comparison between him and environmental activist, Greta Thunberg, who also wears similar pigtails.

One fan said, ‘Bro rocking that 9 yo girl default cut 🔥🔥🔥’. Another fan said, ‘Am i the only one who thinks he rocks this 9 year old girl haircut? Looks dope on him bruh.’ A third one added, ‘Greta got really tall didn’t she?’ Another fan was quick to compare Haaland to a Viking as he tweeted, ‘Viking is back.’
Guardiola’s words before the Bayern game
Pep Guardiola has been chasing the UEFA Champions League for quite a while now. He last won the competition in 2011 with FC Barcelona, with the likes of Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Pedro, etc. This has always been a stumbling block for the Catalan coach as he has been knocked out of the competition every time since 2011. He came close in the 2021 final, but lost out to Chelsea, in the end.

Talking about Haaland, Guardiola said, ‘Erling is so important for us. I cannot deny the goals and the influence. He came to help us to be here in the Champions League, but at the same time to help us in the Premier League and FA Cup.’
He continued, ‘It’s important to have a player who can score a goal from nothing, but we’ve scored many goals for many years in the Champions League. Against Monaco, we scored six goals and were out. Against Tottenham, we scored four goals and were out.’
He ended by saying, ‘We scored four goals against Madrid and were out. I always had the feeling that we scored with a false nine, with [former strikers] Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, with Erling. We’ve always scored goals. That was not the problem.’

Haaland has scored 44 times for Man City this season and is in menacing form for the Blues. As the English team gets ready to face the Bavarian giants, the #9 will be hoping to sink them and take City to the semi-finals of the UCL.
