The stage is set for an entertaining Kolkata Derby in the Indian Super League (ISL). But the Red and Gold brigade have been hit with a massive injury as star defender Anwar Ali is set to miss the Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal clash. In the previous game against Mumbai City FC, the young defender suffered a foot injury and thus has been rendered out of the squad for the mega-important clash.
It will be extremely important to see how East Bengal copes with the injury crisis. The loss of such an important player will be a huge hit for the player. In the previous game against the Islanders, Anwar donned a defensive midfield approach, and thus in his place, it is expected that ace midfielder Souvik Chakrabarti is set to feature in the Playing XI.
No Anwar Ali, East Bengal to bank on PV Vishnu
