Rockstar Games finally revealed Grand Theft Auto: After a long period of various leaks and rumours, Rockstar Games has finally announced the upcoming Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy –The Definitive Edition. The GTA Trilogy will be a remastered version of GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City and GTA 3 designed for the last and current-gen consoles. The game will be available on most of the current platforms which includes Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Rockstar revealed the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy –The Definitive Edition announcement trailer via Twitter.

Rockstar Games finally revealed Grand Theft Auto: The GTA Trilogy Remastered is set to come with huge graphical improvements as well as enhancements in gameplay and user interface. Though the main context of the game remains the same, fans would love to play the GTA classics with holistic graphical improvements. The GTA Trilogy is also expected to come with ray-tracing features which will put the RTX GPUs to good use. Rockstar Games still haven’t given away any actual glimpses of the game or any release date.

Although the gaming community is thrilled with the announcement of GTA Trilogy, some of the announcements have also raised controversies against Rockstar Games. Earlier, it was speculated that the upcoming GTA Trilogy Remastered will be released as a GTA 5 update but Rockstar plans to put the game on sale as a separate Grand Theft Auto title. This game will also not be available to players who already own GTA 3, GTA Vice City or GTA San Andreas.

Rockstar Games still hasn’t mentioned any potential release date but GTA Trilogy Remastered is expected to release in late 2021 or even as late as early 2022. It is also expected that Rockstar Games will also release a GTA Mobile Version which will be released next year.
