Popular Twitch Streamer ItsSliker Has Been Banned from Twitch: ItsSliker, a popular Twitch streamer, and former Team Liquid content creator have been banned from the platform. According to an email from Twitch, Sliker’s channel was momentarily taken down during the first stream of the new year watching Amouranth Documentary, headlined “Better year trust me,” for exposing “accidental nudity or explicit sexual content.” This is Sliker’s first ban since he began streaming on Twitch.

Sliker tweeted, “That title did not last long,” referring to the name of his stream, “Better Year Trust Me.” Twitch disabled his channel for “Accidental Nudity” and “Explicit Content,” according to the email. While the letter did not identify which image caused the suspension, many viewers assumed it was from the program about Amouranth’s OF account, which featured images that were in violation of the site’s TOS.

While it is not proven that the content of the VICE documentary about Amouranth was the basis for the ban, it appears to be the only suspect that matches Twitch’s nudity and sexual content reasons in their ban email. Interviews with Amouranth are included in the documentary, which focuses mostly on her streaming content, which Twitch has considered mostly appropriate but is evidently too explicit for other streamers to present. Many people have questioned Twitch’s consistency when it comes to bannable content because of this gap in explanation.

Many people have criticized Twitch for Sliker’s abrupt ban, stating that this is yet another example of uneven rules. The VICE documentary has gone viral among reaction streamers, and Mizkif and Hasan, two of Mizkif’s Twitch companions, have watched it without being banned. Twitch has yet to make a public statement on the incident.

Sliker’s ban will stand, despite the fact that it is unpopular. Because this is his first offense, the Twitch streamer is likely to receive a lighter sentence, and he may be able to broadcast on the platform again tomorrow.
