PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022: Tencent hosts the biggest PUBG Mobile tournament,  PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 (PMGC 2022), at the end of every year. A few days ago, Tencent announced the details of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022. Tencent also unveiled the prizepool for PMGC 2022 along with the announcement of the mid-year global event. PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 features a 4 million USD prize pool. Last year’s PMGC featured a 6 million USD prize pool.

PMGC 2022 Details

The biggest PUBG Mobile esports event of 2022 will feature top PUBG Mobile teams around the world. Teams will be selected on the PUBG Mobile Global Championship ranking criteria. There will be some directly invited teams also who will be selected on the basis of their regional leagues.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2020 & 2021

Tencent had successfully hosted the two editions of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship. The first ever PMGC event featured a 2 million USD prize pool where Nova Esports was crowned as the champion.

For the second edition of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, Tencent increased the prize pool three times compared to the 2022 PMGC. PMGC  2021 featured a total of 40 teams during the league stage, teams were divided into two regions, i.e. Eastern and Western. Tencent invited one team from India to participate in the grand finals of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021. Nova Esports claimed the victory once again and bagged 1.5 million USD as prize money.

This is all for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022. Tencent will announce additional information regarding PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 later this year.
