The information posted by Gemwire revealed that the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India LAN tournament will take place on 21st-24th July 2022. The tournament will feature only invited teams from the BGIS 2022 and BMPS Season 1. There will be a total of 24 teams participating in the event and the event has a league stage and finals format.

PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022
The biggest mid-year esports tournament of PUBG Mobile, PMWI 2022 (PUBG Mobile World Invitational) is coming this summer. The tournament features a massive prize pool of $3 million which will be held from 11 August to 20 August in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The competition is divided into two parts in different weeks – Main Event(Week 1) and Afterparty Showdown(Week 2).

Main Event (Week 1) of PMWI 2022
A total of 18 invited teams will compete during the first week from 11 August to 13 August. 18 teams will play across three maps (Classic game mode) for a whopping prize pool of USD 2 million.
Afterparty Showdown(Week 2)
The Afterparty Showdown will start in the second week from 18 August to 20 August. A new structure will be incorporated as 12 teams will take part. The top-5 teams from Week 1, six teams from the selected region, and one special invite will complete the 12 teams list. The prize money for this week will be USD 1 million.
Krafton will host a LAN tournament later this month, with the winner receiving a special invite to the PUBG Mobile World Invitational: After Party Showdown. Team SouL, the winner of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series Season 1, has already been invited to the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 Main Event.
