Many Internet personalities including streaming star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and his partner Adept had also expressed their concern regarding Jayne’s disappearance. They took to social media and urged localities to help find him. A missing report was filed by the RCMP and carried out a search operation to locate him. However, to everyone’s relief, he was finally found safe by Airdrie RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), who later disclosed the news. 

Jayne located and found safe

Jayne gained a reputation for his unwavering support of the growth of the game during his time in the Overwatch community. He began streaming and producing content for Team Envy in November 2019 and left the company in May 2021. The news of him being reported missing was a matter of surprise to the Overwatch community. Popular content creators and streamers namely xQc, Adept, Jake Lucy and others had voiced their concern over the issue.

Jayne left his home in Cooper’s Crossing community on June 20, according to the Airdrie RCMP, and was reported missing on June 22. The Overwatch creator was last spotted wearing “a hoodie and sweatpants, both light in colour, and white shoes with blue stripes on them.” Luckily, Jayne was found by authorities on June 24 and is now safe, according to Calgary’s CTV News.

As the news of Jayne finally being found safe after going missing was revealed, Adept was confirmed the same from her side. Earlier she had tweeted, “I need everyone talking about Jayne reported missing. I would have had no idea if Felix didn’t just tell me.” Later she wrote, “ Jayne found safe”.

The community was relieved after they received the news that he was safe. Many wished Jyane that he received proper support for anything that he might be going through.
