GTA 6 Release: While speculations and rumours about GTA 6 are still on the rise, a new surprising source has spilled the beans about Grand Theft Auto 6. Guess who it is? The rapper-turned-game-streamer, Snoop Dogg. Rockstar Games’ hasn’t officially announced any dates for the release of GTA 6, It is not sure as to which GTA game Snoop might be referring to, as neither Rockstar Games nor Dr. Dre’s representatives provided any insights or comments on the matter but it shouldn’t be surprising if a new Dr. Dre song was part of a major update in GTA.
GTA 6 Release: While Snoop was in an interview for the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast, in between the lines, the West Coast rap-star hinted that his long-time buddy Dr. Dre is in his ‘lab-studio’, recording new music for an undisclosed GTA game. In the words of Snoop : “I do know he’s in the studio. I do know he’s making great f***ing music. And some of his music is connected to the GTA game that’s coming out. So I think that that will be the way that his music will be released, through the GTA video game.” Snoop Dogg might refer to the upcoming GTA 6 here but that’s not clear.
What to expect from this leak?
GTA 6 Release: It might be possible that Dre is planning to recreate or touch up some of his classics for the GTA Trilogy remastered. Like that old school vibe from the 2004’s GTA San Andreas where his beats and music featured most prominently. Or he might be creating a new mold for some new recordings to put together for GTA Online? Or even better, is Dre actually working on GTA 6 music? There’s no way to disprove this until the game comes out, but the fact that Snoop Dogg mentioned this in an interview with a music-focused magazine, so it does seem likely that he’s telling the truth.
Amidst all of the speculations, one thing is definite, that regardless of where Dre’s music ends up, we can be excited that Rockstar Games’ is collaborating with rap-giant Dr. Dre, to create original music for its games yet again!
