Epic Games released Fortnite with the Save the World segment on July 25, 2017. The Battle Royale aspect was added a few months later. Although the title is popular for Battle Royale, the community marks its birthday when it was initially released.

Fortnite Battle Royale is currently in Chapter 3 Season 3 where gamers are ‘Vibin’ to the summer theme. The Save the World segment is still an integral part of the game. However, only a certain section of gamers play it.
Completing five years and remaining one of the popular games is a feat indeed. Epic Games and Fortnite has managed to do it with ease. Hopefully the developers will keep up the good work in the years to come.
