BGMI with 100 million registered users in India– BGMI brought back the essence of PUBG Mobile to the Indian gaming community. The Indian gaming community thrived with the advent of PUBG Mobile. However, the sudden ban imposed upon it left a wide gap in the Esports industry. The market was also profitable which compelled Krafton to develop a regional version of the game. Ever since its release, BGMI has notched up several achievements. The recent feat is just another feather in the cap.

BGMI: Battle Royale title from Krafton creates a new record

On July 1st, Krafton revealed that BGMI has surpassed 100 million registered users in India. It is to be noted that the game was launched on July 2nd, 2021. Therefore, in less than a year, the title has successfully notched up the feat of having such a huge gamer base. The availability of the title on both iOS and Android platforms is one of the biggest reasons behind its widespread popularity.

On top of it, the developers regularly release new events, themed maps, exciting new gaming modes, and collaborations to entertain gamers. All these aspects have boosted BGMI’s fan following and increased the number of gamers associated with it.

To commemorate the milestone, the Head of India Publishing of Krafton, Minu Lee delivered a statement for the public.

It is evident from his words that the success of BGMI has certainly pleased Krafton. The Indian gaming sector was promising. Therefore, the developers decided to invest freely in it. The success of BGMI will certainly compel the developers to develop more games for the country and actively develop the esports sector.
