BGMI Masters Series Points Table: After a redemption by OR Esports on the opening day, day 2 of Week 2 Qualifiers turned out as the day of comebacks. Week 2 Qualifiers of India’s first-ever televised esports event, the BGMI Masters Series started with a bang, and the second day featured even more high-octane battles throughout. Team XO, Rivalry Esports, and Blind Esports emerged as three different winners today. Follow all the updates of the BGMI Masters Series with InsideSport.IN.
With three surprising winners, OR Esports remained at the top of the leader board with 51 points from 4 matches while Revenant Esports jumped up 10 spots to be placed second with 46 points from 4 matches. A disappointing performance by Team SouL meant they drop 4 places to fifth with 41 points. With every team playing the same number of games, we can have a fair share to analyze the performances of all the teams. So, let’s jump into the match stories.

BGMS Week 2 Qualifiers Day 2:
Match 1:
The opening match of the day featured Group B and Group C on the standard Erangle map. With Team SouL finishing second after day 1 (Week 2 Qualifiers), the eyes were set on them but they failed miserably. After a shaky opening few days, expectations were also sky-high for Orangutan, TSM, and Chemin Esports. With a rebirth on the cards, Team XO wanted to solve the final puzzle of the zigsaw.
The stage was set for Nigma Galaxy as they had number superiority over the other three teams in the final circle. However, match 1 was all about Immortal of Team XO. With Sensei getting knocked down, Immortal had an uphill task to win against the odds. Gut-wrenching sprays and usage of grenades helped Immortal to wipe out Nigma Galaxy.
The last circle featured 1v1v1 from Immortal(Team XO), Dionysus(Marcos Gaming), and Jaxon(Hydra Esports). Dionysus was spotted and eventually eliminated by Immortal and the player from XO outplayed Jaxon to clinch the WWCD. Immortal of Team XO was the MVP of the match.
Match 2:
With the leaders sitting out due to group divisions, it was a golden opportunity for the chasing packs to reduce the gap. Following an emphatic comeback by Team XO, the game was begging for yet another surprise. The second match was placed between Group A and Group C on the Miramar map.
The games in Miramar mainly follow a specific pattern as positioning (High ground advantage) becomes paramount. The outcome of the match was almost sealed when Rivalry Esports positioned themselves on a high-ground area. With every team fighting against each other, fearless Rivalry Esports eliminated Tsunami of Team Insane to claim an easy WWCD. Admino of Rivalry Esports was the MVP of the match.
Match 3:
The final match of the day was the rematch of the previous fixture which took place on the Erangle map. Unlike the other matches, we witnessed a fight within 2 minutes of the game featuring Nigma Galaxy and Global Esports. The final circle experienced a tactical brilliance from Blind Esports playing the waiting game.
It was 3v3v3 of Team Xspark, Revenant Esports, and Blind Esports. Team Xpark won the hearts battling on every front including Team Revenant. Secret of Xspart knocked down two players of Revenant and Team Blind made the most of it by eliminating the latter from high ground. Xspark had to fight from the open area and Blind finished them off in style to bag their second WWCD of the campaign. Topdawgg was the MVP of the match getting 4 finishes.

So, these are the overall standings after 8 matches. However, we are far away from the outcome. Although today’s points will not be effective in Overall points (Launch week overall points) but will help to finish in the top 16 for the place in Weekly Finals. Eventually, the Weekly Final overall points will be accumulated to the Overall points (Launch week overall points).
