With the tournament just around the corner, all eyes will be on Rohit Sharma's men to prove their mettle and potentially end their ICC title drought.

Yuvraj Singh, a true icon of Indian cricket, has weighed in on the upcoming T20 World Cup, urging Team India to play to their strengths and end their ICC title drought.

His comments come as the cricketing world gears up for the tournament, with the USA kicking off the event with a dominant win over Canada. India, the champions of the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007, will begin their campaign against Ireland on June 5th.

Yuvraj Singh: Time to end Wait

Yuvraj Singh a key member of India’s 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy victories, highlighted the team’s need for self-belief: “I just feel that we have the self-belief of winning big tournaments. I think if India believes and backs themselves and play to their own strengths, I’m sure they’ll go all the way. And that’s what I believe in.”

Surprise picks for T20 World Cup final?

When asked about his predictions for the final, Yuvraj surprised many by overlooking traditional powerhouses like Australia. Instead, he opted for India, the West Indies, and Pakistan as the teams to watch: “I’m hoping India, probably West Indies. Pakistan 3, and no Australians (laughs),” he said with a chuckle.
