After the conclusion of Asia Cup 2023 event, Shaheen Afridi will tie the knot to Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha Afridi. The Continental Cup will end on September 17, & Ansha and Shaheen will likely get married on September 19. However, both families are yet to confirm the news. For the uninitiated, the Pakistani pacer and Ansha got married as per (Ismalic marriage contract) in February 2023. To note, Ansha is the elder daughter of Shahid Afridi.
Several reports are now floating that Shaheen and Ansha will again get married, with Walima to follow on September 21 set to be held at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad. Close family members, friends, and a few celebrities are set to attend the grand reception of Shaheen and Ansha.

Call it love at first sight or closeness with Shahid Afridi’s family, but Shaheen was sure from the first meeting itself that he wanted to marry Ansha. The left-arm pacer also revealed that he wanted to settle down with Ansha due to the closeness of both families.
“It was my marriage so obviously, it was me who thought about marrying her. Lala and my brother have been friends for a very long time, and our elders know each other too. So, my mother went ahead with the rishta, and families agreed,” he said while speaking during an interview.
Earlier, Shaheen Afridi also did not have any hesitation about marrying Ansha.
Speaking in an interview on Geo News‘ show “Aik Din Geo Kai Sath”, the left arm revealed that it was his wish to marry Afridi’s daughter.
“It was my wish, and Alhamdulillah [thanks to Allah Almighty] it is fulfilled now,” Shaheen said while blushing during the interview.
When asked whether Ansha felt jealous about his female fans, the 22-year-old cricketer said: “I am not sure, maybe she feels something like that.”
