The rivalry between India and Pakistan is always one of the most anticipated clashes in world cricket. After a brilliant batting performance by the Men in Blue, it was Kuldeep Yadav show in Colombo as a fifer from the chinaman got India to a convincing win. Pakistan who were put to chase 157-run target, never really got into the game. Moreover, Kuldeep Yadav, who was in his prime, finished with the figures of 5/25 in his eight-over spell.
Bumrah, who was bowling in ODIs for the first time after injury break, discomfited Pakistan’s top order, along with Mohammed Siraj, who also ramped up the pressure. But after the rain delay, it was Kuldeep Yadav, who compounded on their woes, thus leading India to their then biggest win by run margin.
