Australia cricket team star Tim David smashed a mind-boggling 130 metre six in the IND vs AUS 3rd T20I at the Bellerive Oval, Hobart on Sunday. The Australian batter, who came in to bat at number 3 in the contest, finished with 74 runs off 38 deliveries, decimating the Indian bowlers. The mammoth six off Axar Patel’s bowling was one of the five sixes that David struck in the course of his outstanding knock.

It was in the 6.4th over that David decided to go down the track and smack Axar for a gigantic six. Such was the intensity of the hit that the ball went on to strike the roof of the Ninja stadium before rolling back in. The Indian fielder and the batter himself couldn’t do anything but watch in awe has the ball sailed past all their heads.
India ended their toss drought in Hobat as Suryakumar Yadav finally won one and opted to field first. Arshdeep Singh provided a couple of early strikes for the visitors, prompting Australia to send David at number three. And the batter took it on himself to decimate the bowlers.
His 78-run innings was laced with five sixes and eight fours, at a strike rate of 194.74. His phenomenal knock finally came to an end in the final delivery of the 13th over when he was caught out by Tilak Varma off Shivam Dube while attempting yet another big hit. But the damage was already done, with David stitching together a 59-run partnership with captain Mitchell Marsh followed by a 45-run stand off just 27 deliveries with Marcus Stoinis. At the time of his dismissal, Australia raced to 118/5 in 13 overs.
