The Sri Lankan pacer took a stunning catch to bring the curtains down on the DC opener’s innings. Such was the catch that even Dhoni couldn’t help but applaud the pacer’s effort with a wide smile.

Warner attempted to play a reverse scoop with the intention of smashing yet another boundary. Pathirana, who was behind the wicket, dived to his left to take a stunning one-handed grab. The DC opener was dismissed for 52 runs off 35 deliveries.
