Young batters Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan enjoyed their time in Port Elizabeth ahead of the IND vs SA 2nd T20I. In a video going, the duo of Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan were busy in shopping before they face the home side in the upcoming IND vs SA 2nd T20I on Tuesday (December 12).
Both Gill and Kishan are expected to be a part of the Indian playing XI for the upcoming IND vs SA 2nd T20I. While Gill might open alongside Gaikwad or Jaiswal, Kishan is likely to play as the wicketkeeper-batter. The left-handed batter looked in good form during the recently concluded IND vs AUS T20I series. The Southpaw will look to emulate his form against the lethal bowling line-up of South Africa.
Speaking about Gill, the 24-year-old played his last T20I against the West Indies in August. Speaking about his numbers in T20Is, Shubman Gill has played just 11 matches so far and amassed 304 runs at a strike-rate of 146.86. He has one fifty and a century to his name in the 20-over format.
After the first game getting washed out, the IND vs SA 2nd T20I is slated to be played at St George’s Park in Gqeberha. The Men in Blue will be eyeing for a perfect in the series. On the other hand, South Africa under the leadership of Aiden Markram will want to give their all in-front of the home crowd. Just like the opening game, there are chances of rain during the second game as well. It remains to be seen if the home crowd gets to see some action or not on Tuesday.
