Ashwin had a phenomenal series against England, registering multiple milestones. He became only the second Indian bowler after Indian spin legend Anil Kumble to achieve the milestone of 500 wickets during IND vs ENG 3rd Test.
He became only the 5th spinner in the whole world after Muthaiah Muralidharan, Shane Warne, Anil Kumble and Nathon Lyon to achieve this landmark.
