The India Premier League (IPL) 2023 final against Gujarat Titans (GT) marked the last appearance of Dhoni on the cricket field, where he led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to a historic fifth IPL trophy win, matching the record of Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians.

Despite grappling with a continuing knee issue throughout the season, Dhoni still made significant contributions with his brief appearances in batting. His invaluable captaincy skills and wicket-keeping prowess continued to shine for CSK, as always.
