Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran was a proud owner as her team clinched a decisive victory over 5-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings on Friday. Sunrisers, chasing 165, secured the victory with 11 balls to spare. The victory sparked a celebration all over the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Kavya Maran, too, celebrated the win jubilantly from the stands.

Sunrisers won the toss and chose to bowl at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. SRH produced a disciplined bowling display to restrict CSK to 165. The Hyderabad team were calculated in their chase too, building on the start given by openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. They achieved the victory with 11 balls remaining, as the home crowd cheered their team on.
