It isn’t a India vs Pakistan clash without some high intensity action. A similar incident took place when a throw from Mohammed Siraj hit Pakistan batter Mohammad Rizwan on his elbow. Rizwan was out of his crease and Siraj immediately seized the opportunity to hit at the stumps. But Siraj’s throw went on the wrong direction to hit the batter on his hand.
Rizwan immediately grimaced with pain. And Siraj was immediately quick to apologise on the matter. A hit on the elbow is extremely painful and he needed some immediate assistance from the medical team.

The incident took place in the last delivery of the second over. It was a good delivery from Siraj and Rizwan executed a simple defence. The ball rolled to the arms of Siraj while Rizwan out of momentum moved forward from his crease.
Siraj immediately seeking an opportunity took the ball and aimed at the stumps. But his throw wasn’t perfect. It was wayward and it got to hit the batter on his elbow. Rizwan was extremely hurt from the accident. India’s veteran all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin however praised Rizwan for continuing with his pain. The Pakistani opener is still continuing in the game albeit at a slow pace.
