The BCCI selection committee will meet for one final time before finalizing the India cricket team’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. The deadline to announce the squad is May 1, and other big teams like New Zealand have already named their squad for the mega event.
Final meeting on April 30, squad on May 1?
BCCI Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar is set to hold a meeting with the selection committee in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (April 30) before announcing the squad. Only after discussion will the BCCI name the team that’ll fly across the Atlantic. This was the second meeting Agarkar has held in the last couple of days.
On Saturday (April 27), Agarkar reached Delhi to meet with India cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid. It is expected that the final squad will be named on May 1 once the selection committee has had the final chat.
