Virat Kohli unfollows Punjabi singer Shubh on Instagram due to his controversial map post, Khalistani support allegations, despite previous admiration.

Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has reportedly unfollowed Canada-based Punjabi singer Shubh on Instagram after he posted a controversial image of a distorted map of India on social media. Shubh has faced accusations of supporting Khalistani separatists, and his recent Instagram story caused significant outrage in India. Shubh was once a favorite of Kohli’s and had expressed his admiration for the 26-year-old on Twitter.

However, it appears that Kohli was not pleased with Shubh’s controversial post, leading him to unfollow the singer. This post also sparked protests in Mumbai, where Shubh is scheduled to perform from September 23-25. Shubh was originally scheduled to perform in Mumbai from September 23 to 25 as part of the Cruise Control 4.0 event aboard the Cordelia Cruise. However, he faced objections from the BJYM (Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha), citing his alleged support for Khalistanis.
