Virat Kohli on Thursday was spotted in Mumbai ahead of his imminent departure to the USA for the T20 World Cup 2024. Kohli, who recently faced heartbreak when Royal Challengers Bengaluru lost their IPL 2024 Eliminator match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, was spotted outside the Mumbai Airport.

Virat Kohli has had a wonderful IPL 2024 season. He was criticised a lot ahead of the tournament due to his slow strike-rate and reports of him being omitted from the T20 World Cup squad,
However, he put all those talks behind with performance that made his critics eat their words. In 15 matches of IPL 2024, Kohli scored a whopping 741 runs at an average of over 61 and a strike-rate of over 150. He is the Orange Cap holder and is likely to win the highest run-scorer trophy of IPL by quite some distance.

The first crop of Indian players will travel to USA on May 25th, according to a report by ANI. It remains to be seen if Kohli travels with the team or goes to US with the second crop of players. For now, Kohli is in Mumbai and is likely to spend some time with his family before departing for US.
