In a heartwarming display of sportsmanship, Indian cricket team star Virat Kohli took a moment at the Wankhede Stadium to give special praise to Jasprit Bumrah.

Kohli, addressing the crowd at the iconic stadium, said, “I am sure, like, everyone in this stadium, we also felt that—man, is it going to slip away? What I want everyone to do is – applaud a guy, who brought us back into the tournament again, and again, and again! A huge shoutout to Jasprit Bumrah. We are lucky that he plays for us!”

Later Kohli said, a huge cheer for ‘Bumrah!’ He’s a once-in-a-generation player.”

This public acknowledgement underscores the crucial role Bumrah played in India’s triumphant World Cup run, as they chanted his name.

I’ll sign the petition, Kohli

Broadcaster Gaurav Kapoor jokingly suggested a petition to declare Jasprit Bumrah a national treasure. Virat Kohli said, “I will sign it right now,” highlighting the immense respect he holds for the Boom-Boom.
