Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has done it yet again! For the third time in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026), the 15-year-old has scored a 15-ball half-century. More than that, he has scored a 36-ball century – his second in the league. This marks the third fastest hundred in the IPL. His latest whirlwind knock came in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Jaipur on Saturday. With this knock, Sooryvanshi also becomes the fastest player to get to 1000 runs in terms of balls faced, as he continues to build his legacy and shadow seniors.
Sooryavanshi slams 2nd IPL hundred
On Saturday, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again took just 15 deliveries to breach the fifty-run mark, and he did so in style as he slammed a maximum off Sakib Hussain in the final over of the powerplay to get to the milestone. He then went on to add another fifty runs to his tally and score his 2nd IPL hundred off the next 21 balls.
Previously, he had scored 15-ball half-centuries against CSK and RCB in IPL 2026. Sooryavanshi finished with 103 runs from 37 balls, having struck 5 fours and 12 sixes at a strike rate of 278.37. Sooryavanshi’s century is the fifth in this IPL 2026 season, with Sanju Samson scoring 2, Tilak Varma and Abhishek Sharma slamming one each, and now Vaibhav joining the list.

Sooryavanshi made his IPL debut last year after being bought for Rs 1.10 crore.
