In the video posted, Pandya has pulled off some incredible catches. Some of them to his left and some to his right. All of them were not straight forward ones, but where he needed to fly across thin air.

This video just goes on to show the dedication he has towards fielding. Hardik Pandya is one of the best fielders in the Indian team. The all-rounder has pulled off some incredible catches in matches for India as well.
The player is one of the most reliable when it comes to holding onto catches. He hardly drops any catch. Be it any captain, be it MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli, Pandya was and is always used in the outfield, especially during the slog over. When batters are looking to score quick runs, he would always be kept in the long on or the long off area. That is the area, batters normally target. It shows the confidence the Indian captains had in him.
In fact, the fielding standard of India have increased leap and bounds in the last 10 years. Players are open to throwing their body around on the field, which was amiss earlier. If one looks at the current Indian team, Pandya, Virat Kohli and others are star fielders. Though Ravindra Jadeja is not present in the T20 World Cup squad, he is the best fielder in India. His ability to hold onto catches and run out players makes him an elite fielder in world cricket.
Now, the Indian players big test on the field will be at the T20 World Cup. In the shorter format, fielding is even more important. The players will be tested to the hilt with balls coming more frequently.
