Ashwin or Chahal – who is suited better for Australian wickets
The wickets in Australia are suited for pacers primarily. But teams always play a spinner for variety purposes. And India have a history of playing spinners, irrespective of the surface. But when it comes to Australia, they have to make a choice between Ashwin and Chahal. Who suits Australian conditions better?
So far, it is quite evident that the leg-spinner is India’s first choice. In the first practice game, Chahal played and also scalped two wickets. But it will be interesting to see if Ashwin will be tried by the management in the next three games. And if the experienced spinner shines, it could lead to another headache.
Deepak Hooda – how to use him?
