Pakistan captain Babar Azam scored an excellent fifty in the match to help Men in Green beat India by 10 wickets. He scored 68 runs in 52 balls with the help of six boundaries and two sixes. The right-hand batsman scored runs with a strike rate of 130. While praising Babar, Inzamam said that with the technique Babar has, it seems that he can break all records in 10 years. The former captain was speaking on Geo News programme Geo Pakistan.

“Babar Azam’s technique is much better than [Indian captain] Virat Kohli, Haq said, sharing that even during the practice match, Azan was clear on how he wanted the team to play against India,” Inzamam said.
He also backed Pakistan to play with the same playing XI in the next game against New Zealand.
Earlier, Michael Vaughan also praised the Pakistan team. “Congrats @ TheRealPC. that is what you call hammering the favourites. Incredible display. Well done. #indiaVsPakistan #T20WorldCup,” tweeted Vaughan. The former England skipper also lauded the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and called him the ‘best player’ in the world across all the formats of cricket.
