Suryakumar Yadav torments Afghans with blistering Fifty in IND vs AFG clash in T20 World Cup

IND vs AFG: Suryakumar Yadav rescues India Cricket Team with blistering fifty against Afghanistan in T20 World Cup

On a day where the rest of the batters failed to prove their worth, out stood Suryakyumar Yadav with his exceptional batting skills. The World Number 1 T20I batter showcased why he is the best in this shortest format of the game. In the IND vs AFG clash, where Rohit, Virat, and Rishabh failed to score big, SKY helped the Men in Blue score big runs with his hammering blows.

After a brilliant 28-ball Fifty, SKY departed. But the damage for the Afghans has been done, SKY blasted his way by hammering a stunning 58 run knock which consisted of 5 fours and 3 huge sixes.

SKY Blitzkrieg hits Afghanistan

The Afghans were in for a major delight when they dispatched India’s top order. Rohit Sharma failed to score big runs, while Virat Kohli returned back after scoring 24 at run a ball. Rishabh Pant’s stay at the crease was also short as was Shivam Dube’s.

But Suryakumar Yadav took things into his own hands. He completely changed the dynamics of the game with his blistering knocks. Clearing the ropes with relative ease, SKY unleashed his carnage on the Afghani bowlers.

As customary, SKY hit the ball across all the areas of the pitch, proving yet again why he is a 360 degree cricketer. Hardik Pandya remained as a steady partner, allowing SKY to hit runs while the Indian vice captain continued to hold the fort, occasionally going for big shots.
