The weather forecast for Chennai on May 24 predicts high humidity levels with occasional clouds and sunshine, despite no expected rainfall, according to Accuweather.

Since the game is set to begin at 1930 IST, the weather in the evening is crucial. It is predicted to be a moderate 31 degrees Celsius, but high humidity in the 80–90% range combined with a 99% cloud cover will make it feel more like 38 degrees.
