During the first ball of the 11th over, the MI captain, dived full length at mid-off in an attempt to save a boundary off Romario Shepherd’s delivery.
Shivam Dube, the CSK batsman who was batting on 15 at that time, sliced the ball towards Pandya’s right. While Pandya displayed exceptional commitment by putting his body on the line, the ball eluded his grasp and raced to the boundary. It was a superb fielding effort by the all-rounder, who gave his all despite bowling the previous over.
