Gujarat Titans pacer Mohit Sharma heaps praise on CSK middle-order batter Shivam Dube after his dominating show in Chepauk on Tuesday. A quickfire 51-run of just 23 deliveries saw CSK being propelled to a massive 206-run total in their 1st innings. Sharma, who is a ex-CSK pacer, opines that Dube’s improvement in batting is a boon for Indian cricket.

“I feel that the way he has improved himself over the last two-three years is tremendous. This is very good for Indian cricket. There are big tournaments going ahead. No doubt, he is performing extremely well for CSK,” Mohit Sharma said at the post-match press conference.

Dube didn’t take a ball to settle and went on the rampage from the first ball. He hammered back to back sixes on his opening balls against Sai Kishore to make his intentions clear from the start.
The destructive southpaw had a short stay in the crease. But even in his short stay, the damage was done for the visitors. Dube slammed 2 fours and 5 sixes to help his side get ready to pile up a massive total on the board.
