Shane Warne Memorial Tickets – How to book tickets? Earlier, on Sunday, Shane Warne’s family and friends farewelled the cricket legend in a private funeral service at St Kilda Football Club and now it is the public’s turn to pay their respects.
Warne Memorial Service Tickets: The Victorian government confirmed the details of Warne’s state memorial service. On Tuesday, Victorian premier Daniel Andrews confirmed free tickets would be available to the public.

He took to social media to announce the service saying, “We’ve got some details locked in for Warnie’s memorial at the MCG. The service will begin at 7pm, 30 March.”
“Free tickets will be available for booking from today at 3pm.
“And don’t worry – if you can’t make it, the memorial will be livestreamed.”

Gates will open at the event at 5.30pm, with all guests required to be seated by 6.45pm. The service is expected to run for about two hours.
It is likely that at some point during the memorial service, the ground’s Great Southern Stand will be renamed the Shane Warne Stand; an honour Victorian Sports Minister Martin Pakula offered to Warne’s family.

There will also be an allocation of tickets for members of the public. These tickets will be made available from 3pm on Tuesday 22 March via Ticketek. However, Seating will be reserved for family, friends and invited guests.
