Batting first, the Proteas posted a mammoth 382 runs onboard, courtesy of Quinton de Kock’s record breaking innings. He got a good support from Heinrich Klaasen who scored 90 runs off 49 balls.

Although they started their campaign with a win against Afghanistan, the Tigers have faced difficulties in maintaining their momentum towards a spot in the semifinals. However, a positive news for Bangladesh is the return of Shakib al Hasan to their lineup.
