Rishabh Pant offers Champagne to Shastri –
In a video that viral on the internet, Rishabh Pant was seem walking towards Shastri and then offered his Champagne to the former India coach. Shastri was present on the ground as he was working for SkySports in England. A beautiful gesture Shastri too accepted the gift.
Rishabh Pant came into bat at very difficult situation when India were struggling at 72/4 and then guided India to a famous win. Rishabh Pant towards the end got aggressive as well and scored five boundaries in a single over to cap off the day that saw Team India win the series 2-1.
Virat Kohli also joins the party
Following the epic run chase on Sunday, former India captain Virat Kohli was also enjoying despite all the criticism over his poor form and looked in high spirits as he offered the champagne to Ravi Shastri. It is no secret that Shastri and Kohli are close and have been part of the dressing room for a long time.
The gesture from Kohli has got fans excited. Shastri did not take up Kohli’s offer. After that, Kohli in a video was seen splashing champagne on Shikhar Dhawan, who was running for cover.

- With India on 72/4, England looked on top of their game after Reece Topley had dismissed Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in quick succession.
- It seemed almost over for India. Almost because Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya were still at the crease.
- England were bowling difficult lines and chances of an Indian turnaround appeared low but Pandya and Pant diligently added 132 runs for the fifth wicket.
- However, inspired form and performance from Pant and Pandya saw the Indian team home and capture a famous series win.
