Rishabh Pant Accident: On Friday, Rishabh Pant suffered a horrific crash on his way to Dehradun. Pant was driving alone in his Mercedes and was ‘lucky to survive’ as his vehicle caught fire. The 25-year-old broke the window of his car to escape, with locals and a bus driver helping him off to a nearby hospital. In an old video, Rishabh Pant asks his senior cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan, about any advice he would like to give him. The duo were having a candid chat during their time with the Delhi Capitals. The veteran then asked him to drive more carefully which was followed by a burst of laughter by the two.

The video of Dhawan’s advice has since gone viral with Pant’s accident. It is believed that the 25-year-old was lucky to survive after his Mercedes caught fire.

According to eyewitnesses, Rishabh’s car collided with the railing, after which the car caught fire. The fire was brought under control with great difficulty. Pant, who was seriously injured in the accident, was then admitted to Roorkee Civil Hospital before being moved to Max Hospital Dehradun.
Fortunately, the 25-year-old did not suffer injuries to his brain or spinal cord. The MRI for the same has returned ‘normal. as per ESPNCricinfo. He has also undergone plastic surgery intervention for facial injuries, lacerated wounds and abrasions the update stated.
