Virat Kohli vs Kagiso Rabada

Virat Kohli will be looking to hit peak form as early as possible after scoring just 21 of 20 balls in the match against Chennai Super Kings. Kagiso Rabada on the other hand did not have an ideal outing either, conceding 36 runs with only a single wicket to his name. However, Kohli has struggled against Rabada in IPL, scoring just 27 runs in 6 matches and getting out three times. It will be interesting to see how he manages Rabada this time around.

Arshdeep Singh vs Glenn Maxwell

Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the bowlers for Punjab against Delhi Capitals. The left-arm seamer took two wickets giving away only 28 runs. He also became the 4th highest wicket taker for Punjab courtesy of his two wickets. Maxwell on the other hand had a forgettable outing against CSK, getting out on a golden duck. Can he turn his fortunes around against Arshdeep and co.?

Mohammed Siraj vs Shikhar Dhawan

Mohammed Siraj was expensive in his first match, giving away 38 runs without a wicket. Dhawan scored 22 of 16 balls before getting out to Ishant Sharma. Siraj has only managed to take Dhawan’s wicket once before in IPL, with the batter scoring 35 runs 8 innings against the Indian pacer. With Siraj bowling with the new ball, Punjab’s chances will depend on how Dhawan tackles Siraj.
