RCB vs KKR Predicted Playing XI: Karn Sharma in for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Kolkata Knight Riders to go unchanged

Both RCB and KKR are coming off a win against their respective opponents in their last match. It will be an interesting battle at Chinnaswamy, one of the shortest grounds in IPL.

RCB vs KKR Predicted Playing XI: Royal Challengers Bengaluru will look to take full advantage of the home crowd support when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday, March 29th. RCB are coming off a win against Punjab Kings after losing to Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2024 opener. On the other hand, KKR got off to a flying start by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad at their home ground.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Karn Sharma in for Mayank Dagar

Mayank Dagar had an ordinary showing against Punjab Kings to say the least. The left-arm orthodox spinner, playing as the only specialist spinner in the XI, gave away 34 runs in just three overs. Due to his poor form, Glenn Maxwell bowled his quota of 4 overs. Karn Sharma can solve the problem for RCB. The leg-spinner can turn the ball more than Mayank and is not scared to toss the ball up in search of wickets.

However, the rest of the team is likely to remain the same.

Predicted RCB Playing XI:

Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Dinesh Karthik, Anuj Rawat, Karn Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, Yash Dayal, Alzarri Joseph.

Impact Player: Mahipal Lomror

Kolkata Knight Riders: Likely unchanged

Kolkata Knight Riders boast of an in-depth batting line-up with power-hitters packed from top to bottom. They are one of the best batting sides of the tournament and can take any team apart with ease.

On the bowling front, although the KKR bowlers went for a few runs against SRH, they kept their nerves to turn the game in their favour when it mattered. Although the likes of Mitchell Starc and Varun Chakravarthy went for over 13 runs per over, the KKR management is likely to back them, at least for this match.

Phil Salt, Sunil Narine, Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana, Ramandeep Singh, Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Mitchell Starc, Varun Chakravarthy, Harshit Rana.

Impact player: Suyash Sharma
