IPL 2024

Another catch of the tournament contender

Vijaykumar Vyshak ended up with figures of 3.3-0-23-2, but it turns out his two wickets weren’t the most impressive things he did today. The right arm grabbed a screamer at the third-man region. With the dangerous Rahul Tewatia still at the crease, the match wasn’t over. but Vyshak had other plans. He threw his body at the ball and ensured that the Gujarat Titans didn’t come back into the RCB vs GT match.

Scintillating Siraj

Mohammed Siraj is back. The right arm, who had been struggling in the IPL 2024, hasn’t come good for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Siraj had taken just two wickets in the powerplay in his previous nine matches and took a similar number of wickets in two overs today. His opening spell saw the Gujarat Titans register the lowest powerplay score of the IPL 2024 season.
