RCB vs CSK: Virtual playoff tie reeling under rain threat, some parts of Bengaluru already see downpour

Bengaluru saw rains in the south-eastern part of the city up till now, with areas such as Bommasandra and the Electronic City getting some rainfall.

The IPL 2024 has moved towards it’s business end with the playoff spots almost confirmed and a number of teams opting out. There is only one playoff spot that is up for grabs, with Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad already sealing their destiny. The RCB vs CSK match in Bengaluru on Saturday has become a virtual playoff, with the winner booking their place in the 4th and final place. However, the match can only go through if there’s no rainfall in Bengaluru on Saturday, and it looks like that will not be the case.

Already raining, just not at Chinnaswamy for now

It has been raining in some parts of Bengaluru from the morning, and although Chinnaswamy Stadium hasn’t received any rainfall till now, it looks like there won’t be much delay before the clouds move over the stadium.
