RCB predicted playing XI vs KKR: Salt returns, Patidar recovers & no Hazlewood

RCB will miss the services of Hazlewood but will be delighted to have Salt and Patidar back and fully fit

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on KKR at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru in a game that will mark the restart of IPL 2025. RCB are just one win away from becoming the first team to qualify for the playoffs. Patidar and co’s momentum came to a halt last week after IPL 2025 was suspended for a week. RCB will be hoping to seal their spot in the playoffs by taking down KKR in what could be a rain-hit tie.

RCB will head into the contest against KKR without the services of their best bowler Josh Hazlewood. The Australian, who missed the last game because of a shoulder niggle, is yet to join the side. In his absence, RCB will pin their hopes on Yash Dayal, Ngidi and Bhuvneshwar to deliver with the ball.

However, Salt is all set to return to action after missing the last two matches due to illness. Bethell did an excellent job in his absence but will unfortunately have to warm the bench.

Another good news for RCB is Rajat Patidar seems to have recovered from his hand injury. A one-week break came as a blessing for the RCB captain, allowing him to recover.

RCB are likely to retain Shepherd in the playing XI following his blitzkrieg in the previous game.
