Virat Kohli

There is a high chance that RCB will go after Virat Kohli and retain him, since Kohli’s batting is the main reason they have qualified for the IPL 2024 playoffs. Speaking of his stats, in 14 matches so far this season, he has scored 708 runs with a strike rate of 155.60.

Kohli’s strike rate, which usually comes under scrutiny, has silenced critics this time. At the age of 35, Virat Kohli remains a valuable asset for RCB.

Will Jacks

One more name that franchise will not want to leave out is Will Jacks. This 25-year-old English all-rounder has been a boon to the team with his versatile abilities.

Having played eight games to date this season, he has scored 230 runs with a breathtaking strike rate of 175.57. Although he hasn’t bowled much this season, Jacks’ name also looks certain to be retained by RCB ahead of IPL 2025.

Rajat Patidar

Patidar has gained the reputation of a big hitter as RCB nurtured this talent for the past 2 years, and the Bengaluru franchise has gotten fruitful results from him, possessing the ability to build partnerships and also hit out-of-the-park shots if required.

In 14 matches, he has 361 runs in his bank with an incredible strike rate of 180. He has also proven to be an asset for the RCB lineup, and we may see his name on the retention list as well.

Mohammed Siraj

Playing since 2018 for the Bengaluru franchise, like Patidar, RCB has invested a lot in Mohammed Siraj. He has impressed everyone with his bowling attributes, and everyone is well aware of how lethal he is. Like the previous years, this season also impressed everyone.

In 13 matches, he has taken 13 wickets to date, although his bowling economy is always under people’s eye. But his name also looks certain on the retention list, as RCB will look to strengthen their bowling, which has always been a weak point for them.
