RCB beat DC by 1 Run in IPL 2021: Purple cap holder Harshal Patel continued his wicket taking spree against Delhi Capital as well. Patel first dismissed Prithvi Shaw’s wicket for 21 runs and than he picked wicket of Marcus Stoinis. DC need 172 to beat RCB & become No. 1 team in points table but they started on a very bad note. Delhi team lost both Shikhar Dhawan & Steve Smith with not much on board. Dhawan could only score 6 while Smith was out for 4.
Royal Challengers Bangalore 171/5 (20 overs) – Superman AB De Villiers smashed 75 unbeaten runs of just 42 balls to take RCB total to 171/5 in 20 overs. De Villiers smashes 23 runs of last over bowled by Marcus Stoinis. In the process champion batsman also becamed the 2nd overseas batsman in IPL to complete 5000 runs.
