PSL 2023: PCB to start the season 8 of PSL on February 15, 2023
According to sources in PCB know-how, the eighth edition of PSL will begin on February 15 to March 31, 2023. If reports in Geo News are anything to go by, then PCB has taken this decision without consulting the PSL franchises and management.
“There was no discussion between franchises and the PSL management regarding the schedule but despite that, it was finalized,” the franchises were quoted as saying by the sources.

PSL 2023: PCB has shortlisted the venues for PSL 08
Meanwhile, the PCB has also decided on the venues for the eighth edition of PSL. The tournament will be played in Pakistan with Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi being the four venues. The PCB has taken the decision to start PSL 08 on February 15 because of visiting teams New Zealand and West Indies touring Pakistan in January 2023.
The PCB has relatively a free window available in February and they have decided to cash in on that. As of now, PSL 08 will be played among six franchises. Lahore Qalandars won PSL 07 in 2022 by beating Multan Sultans in the finals.
The defending champions would look to build on that form and hope to defend the title in 2023.
