Fans took to social media platform X to breathe a sigh of relief and mocked Pakistan for losing a game that was very well in their hands.

India have beaten Pakistan by 6 runs to push the arch-rivals to the edge. Pakistan could not chase 120 with Jasprit Bumrah (3/14) and Hardik Pandya (2/24) putting a fullstop with superb bowling.
Earlier, put to bat, India were bowled out for 119, their lowest total against Pakistan in T20Is. Rishabh Pant tried his best with 42 but the big guns failed to fire. Rohit Sharma (13 off 12), Virat Kohli (4 of 3), Suryakumar Yadav (7 off 8) and Hardik Pandya (7 off 12) had poor outings. Only Axar Patel (20), Rishabh and Rohit reached double digits.
For Pakistan, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf were on fire, bagging 3/21 each. Mohd Amir also picked up two wickets at Nassau County Cricket Stadium. Pakistan are in a must-win situation to keep their hopes alive for T20 World Cup Super 8 stage.
