India’s jersey for the T20 World Cup 2024 was released on May 6, and Rohit Sharma has finally worn the official kit for the mega-event in the USA and West Indies.
Rohit has been playing non-stop cricket since December last year. He played a 2-match Test series against South Africa in December-January and then switched formats to play a 3-match T20I series against Afghanistan in January. He then spent the next two months (January to March) playing a 5-match Test series against England.
If that wasn’t enough, Rohit Sharma rested for just a week and then moved to the Mumbai Indians’ training camp. To reset things, he’s decided to don India’s jersey at the T20 World Cup 2024 photoshoot.
